Britannia Acquire 4 Grand Hotels

In December 2004 Britannia Hotels acquired from The Grand Hotel Group, four large resort hotels which provide great daily entertainment.  The hotels are as follows:

• The Grand Hotel, Scarborough
• The Metropole, Blackpool
• The Grand Hotel, Llandudno
• The Grand Burstin Hotel, Folkestone

They form part of Britannia's estate of 33 hotels throughout the United Kingdom, all of which offer great value for money and quality accommodation.

The primary focus of the resort hotels is on the leisure market.  They offer themed breaks and special packages targeted for those seeking great weekends away and holidays in delightful locations and fabulous settings.

These four hotels give us a fantastic opportunity to increase further, the range of Breaks and Stays that we can offer to our Customers, to suit all our guests needs.  We are delighted that these hotels allow us offer fantastic breaks, in such popular locations.
